Austin Harlan received his Master of Arts in counseling from New Mexico State University and his Doctorate of philosophy in counseling psychology at the University of North Texas. Harlan has specialty training and certifications in addiction, sport and performance psychology, and psychological assessment. He began working in addiction in 2008 and has had multiple roles in the field, including: addiction counselor, team supervisor, psychologist, and director of clinical quality. He has lectured and presented at national conferences on addiction and sport and performance psychology.
